  • Čínský humanistický fotograf Xue Huake

    Xue Huake je současný čínský dokumentární humanistický fotograf. Má za sebou mnoho úspěšných fotografických projektů. Je zakladatelem Katedry fotografie na Čínské akademii umění a vedoucím katedry od samotného vzniku. Je též členem Čínské pedagogické fotografické společnosti, předsedou Zhejiangské lidové fotografické společnosti a doživotním členem Královské fotografické společnosti s nejvyšším oceněním (Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society). V posledních letech se jeho díla často vystavují v známých galeriích a jiných uměleckých institucích v Číně i v zahraničí. Za dobu působení v oblasti fotografie obdržel profesor Xue mnoha ocenění, např.: je prvním Číňanem, kdo obdržel první cenu Mezinárodní výstavy fotografií Epson. Hlavní knižní díla: Fotografie z cest, Tajemství světla a stínu, Nebeský pohřeb, Tibeťané, Procházka starými uličkami Chang-čou atd.
