    Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vybranými umělci, kteří v minulosti fotografovali beskydskou krajinu a život v ní, a to do roku 1948. Základ této práce tvoří vyhledávání a sběr informací a jejich následné zpracování. Jsou srovnávány životní postoje a fotografická díla těchto regionálních umělců. Práce je doprovázena fotografickými ukázkami z díla autorů. Zamyšlení patří také proměnám beskydské krajiny v průběhu času a s tím související vztah člověka ke krajině. Vzhledem k tomu, že se ráz krajiny neustále mění, je tato práce také dokladem toho, jak velkou dokumentační hodnotu má fotografie. Je to obraz nesoucí poselství pro další generace.
  • The New Jewish Identity Seen Through Photography Made In Palestine 1881 - 1948

    The thesis will examine the cultural and ideological context in which photographs were made in Israel/ Palestine at the first decades of the twentieth century, a time when people were forming an identity and an establishment of national identity. It will examine the work of Jewish photographers who worked in the first half of the twentieth century such as Ephraim Moses Lilien, Avraham Soskin and Tzdok Basan. with amphasis on the iconographk style, I will highlight the connection of these photographs to a broader historic Zionistic approach towards a creation of modern jewish identity throughout photography
