| Abstract | Italští filmoví tvůrci v druhé polovině dvacátého století představili světu giallo - žánr kombinující v sobě zejména prvky hororu, thrilleru a detektivky s mysteriózním nádechem. Tato bakalářská práce konfrontuje vybrané zástupce giallo filmů s myšlenkami filosofie existence a snaží se dokázat předpoklad, že i v žánrovém filmu lze hledat osobitou filosofii. |
| Translation of abstract | During the second half of the twentieth century the Italian filmmakers have synthesized a new type of film genre: giallo. It incorporates components from horror films, thrillers and detective stories with a touch of mystery. This thesis confronts the selected examples of gialli films with some fundamental ideas of existentialism in hopes of proving that even in the conventional structure of film genre an original and distinctive philosophy can be found. |
