| Abstract | Bakalářská práce Issac Stern - život a dílo pojednává o slavném houslistovi Issacu Sternovi, který žil letech 1920 - 2001 ve Spojených státech amerických . Kromě bohaté koncertní činnosti se také aktivně věnoval propagaci a podpoře umění. Zasloužil se o zachování slavné Carnegie Hall v New Yorku a byl mnoho let jejím ředitelem. Vyhledával mladé tladé talenty a podporoval je v začátcích jejich kariéry. Kromě sólového hraní se také hodně věnoval komorní hře, byl členem slavného Istomin- Rose Tria. |
| Translation of abstract | Bachelor Thesis Isaac Stern - life and work tells about a famous american violinist Isaac Stern who was born in 1920 and died in 2001. Besing beeing a great concert artist he also dedicated his life to promoting and supporting all kinds of arts. He saved from demolition the famous Carnegie Hall in New York and was a head of the Cernegie Hall for many years. He searched for young talents helped them in the beginnings of their career. He was also a great chamber music player. |
