| Abstract | V magisterské práci představuji kostýmové návrhy pro operu Madame Butterfly od Giacoma Pucinniho. Čtenáři skrze písemnou reflexi akademického zadání přibližuji proces, základní východiska a studium japanismu pro výtvarný koncept operního díla a jeho vliv na evropskou kulturu a oděv. Práce je dělena do pěti částí. První část se věnuje pojmu „japanismus“ a jeho konkrétnímu znaku a příkladu ve výtvarném vyobrazení. Ve druhé a třetí části čtenáři přibližuji estetiku tradičního japonského divadla a krásu ženy. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována uměleckému směru a hnutí, secesi, ve kterém se naplno projevil vliv Japonska a tím výrazně propojil Východ se Západem. Poslední, pátou kapitolou dávám do souvislosti tvorbu Giacoma Pucciniho, konkrétně operu Madame Butterfly, se studiem japonské kultury. Představuji jednotlivé kostýmové návrhy a výslednou realizaci jednoho z nich. |
| Translation of abstract | In this master, thesis I present my costume designs for opera Madame Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini. Through written reflection on the designs for the opera piece on an academic level I am describing the process of their creation, the basic sources and the study of Japanism for the conception of the opera and the influence on European culture and cloth. The thesis is divided into five sections. The first is dedicated to the word „japanisme” and his special signs and examples of fine art. Section 2 and Section 3 approach the aesthetics of traditional Japanese Theatre and Beauty of woman. The forth section is dedicated to the artistic movement Art Nouveau, in that was a strong influence of Japan and therefore East and West were connected. The last, fifth section put into the context the creation of Giacomo Puccini, especially the opera Madame Butterfly with the study of Japanese culture. I present particular costume designs and the final realisation of one of them. |
