AbstractDiplomová práce popisuje život významného českého skladatele 19. století Antonína Dvořáka. Přibližuje a popisuje tento hudební odkaz, zaměřuje se zejména na operní tvorbu. Stručně též přibližuje život a dílo básníka a libretisty Jaroslava Kvapila a jeho pozdější spolupráci se skladatelem Antonínem Dvořákem na společné opeře " Rusalka". Poslední část práce popisuje okolnosti prvního uvedení opery ! Rusalka" v Národním divadle a proměny jejího zpracování v 21.století.
Translation of abstractThis thesis describes works and life of one of the most important Czech composer of the 19th century - Antonín Dvořák. This work focuses on Dvořák ś musical legacy and especially on his opera work ´s. It also describes briefly life and works of au outstanding poet and librettist Jaroslav Kvapil and his later co-operation with Antonín Dvořák with whom Kvapil worked on the opera "Rusalka". The most extensive chapter of this thesis focuses on a detailed analysis of the content and of the musical dramatic composition of "Rusalka". The last part of this work describes the circumstances of the first nigth of "Rusalka" in the National Theatre changes of its later conception in the 21st.century.
