| Abstract | "Nejdůležitější hudba ve filmu je ticho. Abyste však ticho slyšeli, musíte před tichem a po tichu něco zahrát." - Zbigniew Preisner Deset dílů slavné série Dekalog tématizuje 10 božích přikázání. Formálně a tématicky velmi odlišné filmy, spojuje kromě režijního vedení Krzysztofa Kieślowského hudba Zbigniewa Preisnera. Co by ve filmech chybělo, pakliže by v nich Preisnerova hudba nebyla? Práce je analýzou hudebních výrazových prostředků, jednotlivých dílů Dekalogu. Zkoumá motivace režiséra a skladatele pro užití hudby ve filmech, jejich cíle a postupy, které při práci s hudbou používají. Analýza vychází z neoformalistických pozic a jako analytický nástroj používá ‘filmově-hudební analýzu’ Emilia Audissina. |
| Translation of abstract | “The most important music in a film is silence. But in order to hear that silence, you have to play something before and after the silence.” – Zbigniew Preisner The famous ten-episode series Dekalog works with the theme of the ten commandments. These formally and thematically very distinct films are connected by the directing of Krzysztof Kieślowski and the music of Zbigniew Preisner. What would the films be missing if Preisner’s music wasn’t included? This work is an analysis of the musical elements used, of the individual episodes of the Dekalog. It investigates the motivation of the director and composer when using music in film, their goals and processes when working with music. The analysis is made from neoformalist standpoint and utilises the “film/music analysis” of Emilio Audissino. |
