| Abstract | Tato práce Minulost a současnost filmových studií USA se zabývá různými aspekty filmových studií v USA. Ve třech kapitolách rozebírá minulost, současnost a současné trendy filmových studií. Po stránce minulosti se snaží postihnout počátky a vývoj filmového průmyslu na území USA. Dále dodává výčet nejvýznamnějších filmových studií, rozebírá jejich vazby, v současnosti především na korporace zábavního průmyslu. V oblasti stendů se zabývá především problematikou současné filmové produkce studií, rozebírá nejprograsivnější kategorie a uvádí je v rámci jejich úspěchů v distribuci. Hlavním aspektem práce je ekonomické měřítko tržeb. Práce je tedy určena především pro distributory, sales agenty a producenty, aby se mohli lépe orientovat v problematice filmových studií USA. |
| Translation of abstract | The different of film studios in USA are the main focus of this Thesis "The Past and the Present of the American Film Studios". In theree chapters, there is an autline of the past, the present and the contemporary trends of the American film studios. The Thesis tries to ambrace the early beginnings and the evolution of film industry in USA. Further, there is a listing of the most important studios with the amphasis to their connections and relations, especially in the present, to the entertainment industry corporations. In the field of contemporary trends there is the main focus to study contemporary production of the studios, to analyze the most progressive categories and to classify them with the relation to their box-office success. The main aspect of this work stays the economic criterion of gross. The Thesis, therefore, is intended to be useful for disributors, sales agents and producers who want to be orientated in the field of American film studios. |
