| Translation of abstract | In my thesis I look at the work of Lee Miller, with focus on her representation of death on the background of Surrealist influences with the attention on the bodily. Through the methodology of 'Reading Images' I analyse the photo of Dead SS Guard in Canal and Burgomaster of Leipzig's Daughter Suicided. |
