| Abstract | V každej tvári je základná dvojtvárnosť. Objavujú sa v nej dve odlišné ja, ktoré spolu pôsobia: jedným je ľahko prístupné vonkajšie ja, formované vonkajším vzhľadom a jeho rozličnými črtami a druhým je relatívne privilegované vnútorné ja, ukryté za touto podobou. V tomto cykle fotografií riešim nielenže moju dvojtvárnosť, ale i vplyv mojej sestry na mňa a naopak. Je to akási hra a skúmanie, ktoré mi ozrejmilo ako sme si podobné a ako dokážeme okolie zmiasť, keď sme spolu a keď sme zvlášť, ešte viac. Naše životy sa počas troch mesiacov, kedy sme spolu žili, tak prekryli, názory sa ovplyvnili, štýl sa premiešal, že nás po tomto čase už málo kto rozpoznal. | Translation of abstract | Two different faces can be found in every one of us. They represent two different selves ? the outer self formed by appearance and easily accessed and the relatively privileged inner self who is hidden behind the outer one. They always act together. In this series of photographs I show not only my two faces but also the influence of my sister on me. It is a sort of game and exploration as well. People feel confused when we are together but they are much more confused when they see us apart. We were together for three months and during this time my life was identified with her, my opinions were influenced by her and vice versa and our styles were blended. After this time very few people could tell us one from the other. I felt that my sister and I was one person with different faces. |
