| Abstract | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá mezinárodními klavírními soutěžemi a jejich významem pro mladé umělce. Kromě stručné historie a představení nejznámějších soutěží, vybraných na základě jejich dlouholeté tradice a světoznámých laureátů, je práce doplněna o vlastní zkušenosti a praktické rady autora, názory významných umělců a laureátů a fotografie ze soutěžního prostředí. Práce si klade za cíl blíže nastínit fungování mezinárodních soutěží z pohledu účastníka a zaměřit se jak na pozitivní, tak na negativní aspekty. Snaží se čtenáři podat komplexní přehled o dané problematice. |
| Translation of abstract | The topic of this master’s thesis are international piano competitions and their importance for young artists. It consists of a brief history of piano competitions, highlighting those most important and well known, selected based on their long tradition and world-famous laureates, and presents the authors personal experiences and advice, the views of important artists and laureates of various competitions, as well as photos from the competition environment. The main goal of this thesis is to take a closer look at the inner workings of international competitions from the perspective of the contestant and to look at both the positive and negative aspects. It aims to provide a comprehensive view of its subject matter. |
