| Abstract | Práce mapuje vznik a ranou fázi videoartu jakožto období, v němž se jednak formuje vztah umělců k videotechnologii a jednak skrze tuto technologii utváří i svébytná forma uměleckého vyjádření. Na příkladech konceptuálně pojatých videí 5 autorů (Joan Jonas, Bruce Naumann, Shigeko Kubota, Steve Partridge a Charlemagne Palestine) jsou představeny jednotlivé způsoby práce s video obrazem. Důraz je kladen na vztah stylistických prostředků a technologie. Skrze motiv práce zminovaných umělců s reálným časem je demonstrováno, jak technologie určuje časoprostorovou rovinu díla. Zohledňován je také kontext uměleckých směrů 60. a 70. let a jejich vliv na výrazové prostředky videoartu. |
| Translation of abstract | The aim of my thesis is to describe the early period of video art, which creates a relationship between an artist and video technology on the one hand and on the other hand establishes a specific artistic expression through this kind of technology. Examples of early conceptual video works of Joan Jonas, Bruce Naumann, Shigeko Kubota, Steve Partridge and Charlemagne Palestine demonstrate different attitudes and techniques of video art practice. I have focused on the relationship between the languageof video and its technological background. Using the work based on the real time imagining. I have suggested that technology determinates the time and space of the video piece. I have also considered the influence of art movements of 60´s and 70´s and their impact on the language of videoart |
