| Abstract | Jakým způsobem fungují správní rady v českém kulturním prostředí? Tato práce zkoumá současnou situaci v kulturních neziskových organizacích na našem území. Zkoumá zejména to, jak hodnotí práci správních rad ředitelé organizací a jakým způsobem by podle těchto ředitelů měly rady pracovat v ideálním případě. Na počátku výzkumu stála domněnka, že kulturní organizace v naší zemi staví správní rady téměř výhradně z důvodu zákonné povinnosti a že pozice rady je ve většině organizací jen formální. Práce komparuje teoretické i praktické fungování správních rad v České republice se zahraniční (Americkou) teorií i praxí. Výsledky vlastního výzkumu jsou stavěny do srovnání s obdobným výzkumem z Ameriky. Je až překvapivé, nakolik se některá hodnocení z ČR ze současnosti shodují s daty z roku 1996 z Ameriky. |
| Translation of abstract | How do boards of directors work in the Czech cultural environment? This work examines the current situation in cultural non-profit organizations in our territory. In particular, it examines how the directors of organizations evaluate the work of boards of directors and how, according to these directors, boards should work ideally. At the beginning of the research, it was assumed that cultural organizations in our country build boards almost exclusively because of a legal obligation and that the position of the board is only formal in most organizations. The thesis compares the theoretical and practical functioning of boards of directors in the Czech Republic with foreign (American) theory and practice. The results of the current research are built-in comparison with similar research from America. It is surprising to what extent some evaluations from the Czech Republic coincide with data from 1996 from America. |
