| Abstract | Restart je naléhavá a nevyhnutelná operace, kterou musíme provést ve chvíli, kdy se systém zhroutí. Film vypráví příběh o cestě mladé městské dívky k "restartu", o jejím životě, který se během 24 hodin zhroutí jako domek z karet. Natočen v současné Praze, Restart zobrazuje osamění jednotlivce v agresivním světě velkoměsta, v jeho klubech, ulicích, kancelářích a bytech. Ve světě, ve kterém se všichni zdají být sebevědomí, silní a neporazitelní. Restart je osobité, experimentální a zároveň všeobecně srozumitelné drama ze současnosti. |
| Translation of abstract | Restart is an inevitable , emergency oeration, which has to be performed at the moment of a system breakdown. The film depicts a young city girl´s way to "restart". It recounts her life´s sudden, house-of-cards collapse, all of which occurs in a 24 hour period. Shot entirely on location in contemporary Prague, in its clubs, bars, streets and flats, the film shows the loneliness of an individual in the aggressive urban worls of today. In the world where everyone appears to be highly self-confident, strong, and invincible. Quirky, fashionable and extremely engaging, Restart manages to be experimental and completely accessible at the same time. |
