| Abstract | Tato bakalářská práce představuje současnou belgickou taneční scénu a její nejvýraznější choreografy období druhé poloviny 20. a počátku 21. století. V krátkosti se zabývá dějinami Belgie, belgického tance a baletu. Představuje život a dílo vybraných choreografů a souborů, jmenovitě Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Wim Vandekeybus, Sidi Larbi Cherkaouie, Les Ballet C de la B, Les SlovaKs a snaží se zachytit jejich choreografický styl. |
| Translation of abstract | This bachelor thesis presents the contemporary Belgian dance scene and its most prominent choreographers from the second half of the 20th and the begining of the 21st century. The thesis briefly deals with the history of Belgium, Belgian dance and ballet. It presents the life and work of selected choreographers and companies, namely Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Wim Vandekeybus, Sidi Larbi Cherkaouie, Les Ballet C de la B, Les SlovaKs and tries to capture their choreographic style. |
