Abstract
This thesis documents the stage and costume design process for the production of W. Shakespeare?s Macbeth as produced by the Prague Shakespeare Company. The Production was performed in Divadlo Kolowrat, from November 7th 2013 until the 22nd of November 2013. In addition, the production traveled to Houston, Texas at Main Street Theater Company?s Rice Village theatre. It played there from 27th of February until the 9th of March 2014. This thesis includes an analysis of the play and the characters and outlines in detail the design process and the execution of the design. Conclusions about all aspects of this process are provided.
