| Abstract | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá konceptem virtuálních celebrit, jejich genezí a charakteristikou v kontextu populární kultury. Autor se věnuje současným a minulým příkladům virtuálních celebrit s důrazem na fenomén Hatsune Miku, jakožto nový model tvorby mediálního obsahu. Hledáním paralel a rozdílů mezi systémy tradičních a virtuálních celebrit se autor snaží odpovědět na otázku, jestli mají virtuální celebrity potenciál tradiční systém nahradit, nebo jestli představují nezávislý fenomén, který existuje paralelně. |
| Translation of abstract | This Master's Thesis focuses on the concept of virtual celebrities, their evolution and characteristics in the context of popular culture. The author discusses contemporary and past examples of virtual celebrities, accenting the Hatsune Miku phenomenon as a new form of media production. By comparing and contrasting the traditional and the virtual celebrity systems the author tries to find an answer as to whether virtual celebrities might replace the traditional system, or whether they represent a distinct phenomenon, which exists independently. |
