| Abstract | Zkusil jsem Richterovy šedé obrazy znovu vytvořit, re-produkovat a prodchnout je tím, co v nich vidím a tím, co bych v nich rád viděl. Ale jsem si vědom toho, že je reprodukuji v jiné době a nesou si tedy sami o sobě jiné poselství doby. Ale i tato dobová konfrontace otevírá zajímavé otázky. Není to jen vytváření nového kontextu modernistickým fotografiím, kterým dnes již přestáváme rozumět, jejich sdělení začíná vyprchávat, stává se pro nás běžným a je třeba trochu jim pomoci, aby se mohli zapojit do tvůrčího dialogu dnešku. Richterovy obrazy jsou vlastně jakýmsi násobením modernismu a suprematismu, jehož výsledkem jsou díla, která tato období překračují. A toto postmoderní dílo, které pomáhá uchovat suprematistické ideje, se snažím reprodukovat prostřednictvím modernistických fotografií. Co z toho vzniká? Nechám na každém z vás. |
| Translation of abstract | I have tried to recreate the Richter?s Gray tableaus. Re-produce and penetrate them by the aspects which I could see in these tableaus or what I would like to see in them. But I know about the fact that my reproduction takes place in another time so these reproductions are also penetrated by the message of present-day. But this contemporary confrontation raises new questions also. It?s not only creating of the new context for the modern photographs whose comprehension is becoming to be more complicated, their message is slowly ebbing away. We have to help a little bit to these pictures to be able to address us again so it?s necessary to join them to contemporary art discourses. Richter?s tableaus are in fact some kind of multiplying of the modernism as well as suprematism whose result are the artefacts which exceed their period. And I am trying to reproduce that postmodern work which is helpful in the preservation suprematistic ideas through the medium of modernistic photographs. What is the result? It is question for you. |
