| Abstract | V roce 1934 způsobil film Stalo se jedné noci pozdvižení tím, že v něm hlavní ženská hrdinka láká stopaře na svůj odhalený kotníček. Dnes, o přibližně 80 let později, souloží renomovaní herci ve filmech jako Nymfomanka či Příběhy Richarda O. a jejich obnažená těla jsou zachycena ve velkém detailu. Divadelní i filmové vyprávění se (nejen v oblasti erotiky, ale také násilí, politické nekorektnosti apod.) za necelých sto let posunulo k šokující otevřenosti, syrovosti, často až vulgaritě. V této práci zkoumám, proč tomu tak je a jaké nové nároky tyto extrémní výjevy kladou na herce. Dále se snažím šok zasadit do kontextu dějin a poukázat na to, že vlastně nejde o nic zcela nového ? v historii řada velkých děl dramatické literatury způsobila skandál. Dnes žijeme v době, kdy prakticky žádné téma není tabu. V umění už jsme viděli snad všechno. Po vyjmenování nejkontroverznějších výjevů, které se v divadle, filmu a happeningu objevily, se tedy zamýšlím nad tím, zda dnešní divák vůbec ještě stojí o další šokující experimenty. Jakým směrem se současné performativní umění asi vydá? |
| Translation of abstract | In 1934, the film It Happened One Night caused great commotion, for the heroine tries to attract a lift by revealing her ankle. Today, approximately eighty years later, renowned actors have sex on the screen in films such as Nymphomaniac and The Story of Richard O., and their naked bodies are revealed in close-up. Narratives in theatre and on film have (not only in the realm of the erotic but also in terms of violence and political incorrectness) moved, in less than a century, towards shocking openness, crudeness, often even to vulgarity. In this thesis, I examine the causes of these trends and the new demands such extreme scenes make on actors. Moreover, I attempt to place shock into the historical context and point out that it is not new - a number of great plays caused a scandal in their time. Today we live in an era which knows almost no taboos. We have seen almost everything in art. After listing the most controversial scenes in theatre, film and happening, I reflect on the question whether the current audience is at all interested in more shocking experiments. Which further direction will the current performance art take? |
