| Abstract | Tato práce analyzuje ztvárnění, funkci a význam scény porodu ve filmu. Srovnává dokumentární i hrané filmy z různých žánrů a období. Pro objasnění toho, co je porod z klinického hlediska, a posuzování jeho reprezentace v umění během historie, navrhuje autor všeobecnou klasifikaci scén porodu ve filmu podle způsobu jeho ztvárnění, funkce a významu v dramatu, a podrobně vysvětluje jejich vlasnosti pomocí ilustrativních příkladů. |
| Translation of abstract | This dissertation analyses the representation, function and meaning of childbirth scenes in film, taking into consideration films from different genres and historical periods, including both fiction and documentary. After clarifying what is childbirth from a clinical standpoint and assessing its representation in art throughout art history, the author proposes a general classification of childbirth scenes in film according to its representation, function and meaning within the drama, explaining in detail their characteristics with numerous illustrative examples. |
