| Abstract | V této bakalářské práci nejprve popisuji změny pohledu společnosti na osoby s mentálním hendikepem v posledních stoletích, následně přibližuji významy slov „mentální hendikep“ a stručně vysvětluji různé druhy klasifikace těchto hendikepů. Dále se zabývám přímo problematikou pojetí postav s mentálním hendikepem v české kinematografii v letech 1993 - 2007. Pro odhalení negativních stereotypů v českých filmech využívám rozboru konkrétních filmů z daného časového období a v závěru nejčastější negativní stereotypy objevující se v těchto filmech stručně shrnuji. Jedním z nejčastějších negativních stereotypů je například prezentace smrti – nebo nějaké formy zneškodnění, umlčení, či uvěznění - postavy s mentálním hendikepem jako jediné možné řešení pro takovou postavu i pro společnost. |
| Translation of abstract | This bachelor thesis describes the changes in society's view of people with mental disabilities in recent centuries at first, then it is approaching the meanings of the words „mental handicap“ and briefly explains the various classifications of these handicaps. I also work with concept of characters with mental disabilities in Czech cinematography 1993 - 2007. To detect negative stereotypes about people with mental disabilities in the Czech films I use analysis of specific films of that time period. And at the end I find the most common negative stereotypes in these films. One of the most common negative stereotype is the presentation of death - or any form of destruction, silencing, or imprisonment - a character with mental disabilities, as the only possible solution for the character with mental disabilities and society too. |
