| Abstract | V této práci se chci zaměřit na několik základních problémů souvisejících s tématem digitalizace kinodistribuce. Vedle načrtnutí základních klíčových bodů, se pokusím popsat ve stručnosti důvody vedoucí k této přeměně, jakožto i historické a současné podněty tohoto procesu. Zdržím se u technických aspektů, které jsou pro tuto oblast velmi podstatné. Vedle základních termínů se budu věnovat konkrétním technologiím, normám a celému technickému zázemí digitální projekce. Rád bych se zastavil i u otázky zainteresovanosti konkrétních subjektů, které se mohou participovat na procesu přeměny klasické distribuce do distribuce digitální. Ve stručnosti zmíním zákadní myšlenky ekonomických modelů financování. V závěru stručně zmapuji současný stav digitální kinofikace po celém světě i v České republice. |
| Translation of abstract | In this essay I would like to point out the main issues and questions concerning the subject of digitizing in theatrical distribution. I am aware of difficulty of this matter, especially in the view of its continuous progress and development. It has been one of the most debated subject matter in film industry for few recent years. It includes all participated sides including filmmakers, producers, distributors and exhibitors. At the beginning I named briefly some basic technical aspects and informations about historical progression leading to digital projection. I wanted to accent the most important points as regards the digitizing of cinemas itself. Those are as follows: basic principal of digital projection, technical conditions of digital projection, some of existing technical standards as regards digital projection, readiness of all sides included in digital projection, fundamental economic models of digital projection and last but not least the situation in specific territories (availability of required devices and facilities such as projectors and servers accordant with standards above mentioned). In brief I took note of the state of affairs in Czech Republic in very general way. |
