| Abstract | Bakalářská práce stylově analyzuje specifické skladebné konvence, které jsou charakteristické pro slasherový subžánr, z hlediska jeho fyzického působení na diváka, na vybraných nejúspěšnějších slasherech především z 80.let. Vychází z předpokladu, že pokud jsou tyto filmy založené především na tom, jak působí na divákovy tělesné prožitky, odrazí se to i na způsobu, jakým jsou sestříhané. Hlavní otázkou je, jakou roli hraje střihová skladba v účinnosti šokujících záběrů, na nichž je slasherový subžánr postavený. Jelikož se mnoho konvencí napříč filmy opakuje, lze tyto konvence analyzovat ve více filmech a následně tyto poznatky zobecnit. |
| Translation of abstract | This thesis analyzes specific types of editing conventions, which are characteristic for the slasher subgenre, from the perspective of its physical effect on the viewer, in selected most successful slashers mostly from the 80's. Thesis works with the presumption that if these films are based mostly on affecting the viewer's physical responses, it will be reflected in the way they are edited. The main question is, what role does editing play in the effect of shocking images which are the base of the slasher subgenre. Since many of these conventions are being repeated throughout the films, it is possible to analyze these conventions in a number of them and to generalize these observations. |
