| Abstract | Tato práce se zaobírá životem a dílem amerického scenáristy, režiséra a vypravěče Kevina Smithe. Především pak fiktivním universem zvaným View Askewniverse, které Smith svými filmy stvořil. Zároveň tato práce řeší otázku, zda je možné považovat Kevina Smithe za kultovního filmaře, co tento status znamená, jak jej filmový tvůrce může získat a jak udržovat. |
| Translation of abstract | This thesis is analyzing life and work of an American screenwriter, film director, and storyteller Kevin Smith. It is mainly concentrating on a fictional universe called View Askewniverse which Kevin Smith created in his films. The goal of this thesis is also to analyze if Kevin Smith is a cult filmmaker, what this status actually mean, how a filmmaker can achieve this status, and how to maintain it. |
