| Abstract | Ve své bakalářské práci analyzuji naraci ve filmech Christophera Nolana Memento (2000) a Dokonalý trik (2006). Metodologicky vycházím z konceptu „puzzle filmu“ britského naratologa Warrena Bucklanda. Puzzle film je podle Bucklanda takový film, jehoţ způsob vyprávění je natolik komplikovaný a záměrně matoucí, ţe přesahuje klasické aristotelovské pojetí sloţitého děje. Cílem práce je zjistit, jestli jsou puzzle filmy zcela novým svébytným narativním typem (způsobem, kategorií). |
| Translation of abstract | In my thesis I analyze narrative structure of two films directed by Christopher Nolan – Memento (2000) and The Prestige (2006). In the analysis I use a concept called „puzzle film“ developed by british narratologist Warren Buckland. Puzzle film according to Buckland is any film that tells the story in such a complex and misleading way that it transcends classical Aristotelian concept of complex plot. The aim of my analysis is to discover if puzzle film can be understood as a distinct narrative type or category. |
