| Abstract | Ve své bakalářské práci se chci zabývat zatím posledním velkým dílem, který vytvořil David Lynch, osmnáctihodinovým seriálem Twin Peaks: The return odvysílaném v roce 2017. Navázal tak na seriál z devadesátých let, který překračoval hranice žánrů a hranice myslitelného v televizním formátu. Vybral jsem si ho zčásti ze své osobní fascinace, ale také proto, že ho vnímám jako téměř nevyčerpatelný zdroj interpretací. Lze na něm dobře pozorovat nejen Lynchův autorský vývoj, ale také situaci současné televizní a filmové tvorby. Často přetížené touhou po nostalgických remaků a rebootů, což lze pozorovat na různých retro vlnách. Způsob, jakým Lynch uchopil pokračování seriálu z devadesátých let, nastavil sílícímu sentimentu nostalgie surreálné zrcadlo. |
| Translation of abstract | In my bachelor's thesis, I want to deal with the last major work created by David Lynch, the eighteen-hour series Twin Peaks: The return broadcasted in 2017. It followed a series from the 1990s, which transcended the boundaries of genres and the limits of the imaginable in television format. I chose it partly out of my personal fascination, but also because I perceive it as an almost inexhaustible source of interpretation. It is possible to observe not only Lynch's authorial development, but also the situation of contemporary television and film production. Often overwhelmed by the desire for nostalgic remakes and reboots, which can be seen on various retro waves. The way Lynch grasped the sequel to the series from the 1990s set a surreal mirror for the growing sentiment of nostalgia. |
