| Abstract | Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá momentálne často skloňovanou tematikou novovzniknutých internetových distribučných platforiem pre šírenie audiovizuálneho obsahu. Súčasné výskumy a odborné texty o tejto téme sa však v drvivej väčšine venujú distribúcii hraných filmov a seriálov, poprípade dokumentov. Cieľom tejto práce je zhodnotiť, či tieto platformy majú pozitívny dopad na diela animované, či už vo forme krátkeho filmu alebo seriálu. Práca je formálne rozdelená do štyroch kapitol, z ktorých každá skúma inú stránku problematiky spojenú s vybranou témou. Prvá kapitola definuje a pomenúva pojem “nové distribučné kanály”, druhá kapitola sa venuje plateným platformám a tretia kapitola neplateným platformám. Štvrtá kapitola rozoberá problémy, ktoré so sebou internet prináša a ktoré sú súčasťou aj týchto nových distribučných platforiem. |
| Translation of abstract | This diploma thesis deals with the currently highly discussed topic of up and coming internet platforms for the distribution of audio-visual content. The contemporary research into this subject matter usually only focus on the distribution of live-action movies and shows, and occasionally documentaries. The goal of this thesis is to consider whether these new platforms have a positive impact on animated works in general, be they in the form of films or shows. The thesis is formally divided into four chapters, each of them analysing a different aspect of the topic. The first chapter defines the concept of “new distribution channels”, the second and third chapter deal with free and paid platforms respectively. The fourth chapter examines the problems associated with the internet, which are also associated with these new platforms for distribution. |
