| Abstract | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem showcase festivalů. První kapitola představuje krátce přehled vývoje hudebního průmyslu a zasazuje problematiku showcase festivalů do kontextu. Dále je nastíněna jejich stručná historie, charakteristické znaky a přehled těchto akcí ve světě a v Evropě s medailonky těch nejvýznamnějších. Speciální kapitola je věnovaná výběru umělců. Následuje případová studie českého festivalu Nouvelle Prague. Poslední řešenou problematikou je efektivita showcase festivalů pro české umělce a profesionály, kde byly informace získané prostřednictvím dotazníku. Poznatky práce jsou rekapitulované ve shrnutí. |
| Translation of abstract | This master’s thesis is concerned with the matter of showcase festivals. First chapter presents a brief overview of music industry development and puts showcase festivals in the context. Further text is shortly describing history, specific signs and list of these events in the world and in Europe with more information about the important ones. A special chapter is dedicated to selection of artists. Next chapter demonstrates a case study of Nouvelle Prague festival. Last tackled issue is effectiveness of showcase festivals for Czech artists and professionals, information was gathered through a questionare. All findings are summarised in the conclusion. |
