| Abstract | Abstrakt Ve své práci popisuji činnost Františka Kmocha se svou kapelou. V 1. kapitole se věnuji životu kapelníka Františka Kmocha a jeho skladatelskému dílu pro dechový a smyčcový orchestr. Ve 2. kapitole se zabývám působením orchestru za vedení Kmocha od jeho založení po Kmochovu smrt. Též zde zmiňuji význam a práci orchestru při národním obrození ve vlasti a zájezdy do zahraničí. Poslední kapitolou představuji všechny nástupce ve vedení orchestru po současnost. |
| Translation of abstract | Abstract In my exposition I am describing the work of Frantisek Kmoch and his band. In the first chapter I address Frantisek Kmoch's life as a composer, and his works for both wind and string orchestra. In the second chapter I focus on Kmoch's orchestra from its foundation until after his death. In the second chapter I also describe the importance of Kmoch's orchestra during the period of national revival in his homeland and also abroad. In the final chapter I present a history of all those who succeeded Kmoch as leaders of his orchestra from the time of his death to the present. |
