| Abstract | Islandský rodák Jóhann Jóhannsson zemřel 9. února 2018 ve věku pouhých čtyřiceti osmi let. Jeho předčasná smrt je pro hudební svět velkou ztrátou. Jóhannsson během mnoha let svého působení vytvořil vlastní specifický styl, který smazává hranice mezi hudbou a sound designem, vtahuje posluchače do hlubin jiných světů a časů, a je zároveň vysoce eklektický i koherentní. Cílem této diplomové práce je nejprve definovat autorův rukopis analýzou jeho díla v časovém, sociálním, historickém, estetickém a stylistickém kontextu a poté zjistit, jaký celkový přínos zanechal ve světě filmové hudby, sound designu a umění obecně. |
| Translation of abstract | Iceland-born Jóhann Jóhannsson died on February 9, 2018 at the age of only fourty-eight. His premature death is a big loss for the musical world. Jóhannsson has created his own specific style that erases boundaries between music and sound design, draws the audience into the depths of different worlds and times and is very eclectic and coherent at the same time. The purpose of this master's thesis is to define the author's technique by analyzing his works in timely, social, historical, esthetic and stylistic context and to find his overall contributions to the world of film music, sound design and arts. |
