| Abstract | Cílem práce je charakterizovat minimalistickou hudbu a zdůraznit rozdíly mezi skladatelskými technikami Johna Adamse, Philipa Glasse, Steva Reicha a Terry Rileyho. Autorka se detailněji zabývá jejich vybranými skladbami a snaží se vyzdvihnout jedinečnost tvorby každého z nich. V závěru práce zmiňuje své vlastní zkušenosti s tvorbou a interpretací soudobé hudby. |
| Translation of abstract | The aim of this thesis is characterize minimalist music and emphasize differences betwen compositional techniques of John Adams, Philip Glass, Steve Reich and Terry Riley. The author is dealing with their selected compositions and is trying to highlight the uniqueness of their creations. In conclusion mentions her own experience with creations and interpretations of contenporary music. |
