| Abstract | Abstrakt Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o rakouském pianistovi Friedrichu Guldovi, který se do povědomí hudební veřejnosti zapsal nejen jako vynikající interpret Bachových, Beethovenových a Mozartových děl, ale také jako jazzový klavírista a skladatel. Práce je členěna na dvě hlavní části. První z nich čtenáři předkládá životopisná fakta a mapuje Guldův hudební vývoj, který během jeho života prošel několika fázemi a překročil hranice mnoha hudebních žánrů. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na Guldu jakožto skladatele. Snaží se blíže definovat jeho kompoziční styl, a to prostřednictvím podrobné hudební analýzy dvou Guldových klavírních skladeb, Preludia a fugy a třívěté Sonatiny. |
| Translation of abstract | Abstract This bachelor’s thesis deals with Austrian pianist Friedrich Gulda who has made his mark in the knowledge of the musical public not only as a brilliant interpreter of Bach’s, Beethoven’s, and Mozart’s pieces, but also as a jazz pianist and composer. The thesis is divided into two main parts. In the first, the reader is presented with biographical facts mappingGulda’s musical development that went through several phases during his life and crossed the boundaries of many music genres. The second part focuses on Gulda as a composer. The thesis tries to define his style of composition in more detail by the means of in-depth musical analysis of two Gulda’s piano compositions – Prelude and Fugue, and three-movement Sonatina. |
