| Abstract | Bakalářská práce popisuje vývoj, který absolvoval rakouský režisér Ulrich Seidl do momentu natočení svého prvního hraného filmu HUNDSTAGE. Sleduje v jeho dokumentární práci postupy, které uplatnil při natáčení své nedokumentární prvotiny, ale také cestu, kterou absolvoval na pomyslné lince mezi filmem dokumentárním a hraným. Vedle toho práce zproblematizovává vnímání Ulricha Seidla jako dokumentaristy a snaží se ukázat, jak nejasná je (nejen v jeho tvorbě) hranice mezi fikcí a realitou, na které se Seidl s takovou oblibou pohybuje. Práce se pokouší, když už ne odpovědět, tak alespoň položit otázky týkající se Seidlova přístupu k realitě a ke způsobu, jakým tuto realitu uchopuje |
| Translation of abstract | The bachelor thesis describes the development, which was undertaken by the Austrian film director Ulrich Seidl up to the point he made his first fiction movie HUNDSTAGE. The methods of his documentary works are scrutinized in order to point them out in his first non-documentary debut. It also follows ?the journey? he had undertaken between documentary and fiction. Next to that, the thesis problematises the fact that Seidl is by many regarded as a documentary filmmaker. At the same time it deals with the boundaries of documentary and fiction films and shows how unclear this can be, which makes it even more interesting for Seidl. The thesis also tries to raise questions concerning Seidl?s approach to reality and the way he deals with it. |
