| Abstract | Starší tvorba kanadského režiséra s arménskými kořeny, Atoma Egoyana, se vyznačuje velmi specifickými vyprávěcími postupy, které fungují coby postupně se rozkrývající rébus (lidských vztahů). Jedná se o nechronologické mozaikové struktury složené z paralelních, propletených linií postav, kterým se přitom ve výsledku daří odvyprávět kompaktní silná dramata se specifickou atmosférou. Těmto narativním strukturám se ve své práci chci věnovat a rozkrýt jejich fungování. Konkrétně budu zkoumat stavbu tří Egoyanových filmů (Exotica, Sweet Hereafter a Felicia´s Journey). A budu se snažit zjistit, nakolik se v nich použité postupy opakují a zda by v tom případě mohly být i zobecnitelné a nápomocné pro další tvůrce. |
| Translation of abstract | The older work of the Canadian director, with Armenian roots, Atom Egoyan, is significant by very specific narrative approaches. It is a non-chronological mosaic structure composed of parallel, interconnected characters narrativ, which works as a compact, powerful dramas with a specific atmosphere. My goal is analyze these narratives structures and reveal their functioning. In particular, I will analyze the storyline construction of three Egoyan films (Exotica, Sweet Hereafter and Felicia's Journey). And I will try to find out how the metods used there are repeating, and also if they could be used as helpful model for future writers. |
