| Abstract | Tato bakalářská se zabývá využitím klarinetu ve filmové hudbě. První kapitola obsahuje informace o klarinetu v historickém kontextu filmové hudby od němého filmu, přes skladatele „Zlatého věku“ Hollywoodu až k Johnu Williamsovi. Druhá kapitola se zabývá funkcí klarinetu ve filmovém orchestru Johna Williamse a obsahuje instrumentální rozbor skladeb Across The Stars, Hymn To The Fallen a Viktor’s Tale. Dále obsahuje informace o použití Es klarinetu a basklarinetu ve filmovém orchestru Johna Williamse. |
| Translation of abstract | This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the use of the clarinet in film music. The first chapter contains information about the clarinet in the historical context of film music from silent film, to the composers of the Golden Age of Hollywood all the way to John Williams. The second chapter focuses on function of the clarinet in the John’s Williams Film Orchestra, and contains instrumental and formal analysis of three different pieces – Across The Stars, Hymn To The Fallen and Viktor’s Tale. It also contains information on the use of E flat clarinet and bass clarinet in the John Williams Film Orchestra. |
