| Abstract | Cílem této diplomové práce je seznámit čtenáře s tvorbou britské režisérky Andrey Arnold a popsat režijní styl, kterým navazuje na bohatou tradici britského sociálního realismu. Na žánr se tato práce soustředí primárně a stává se z analýz sedmi filmů. Práce současně hledá témata a motivy procházející celou režisérčinou filmografií. |
| Translation of abstract | The main goal of the Diploma Thesis is to inform a reader about the work of an British film director Andrea Arnold and to describe her directing style, which follows the rich tradition of British social realism. This thesis focuses primarily on the genre and it cosists of analyses of seven films. The thesis also searches for director’s typical themes and patterns visible in all of her films. |
