| Abstract | Celovečerní scénář "Oj vej zmir" posluchačky Katedry scenáristiky a dramaturgie FAMU Sabiny Bočanové nahlíží milostný labyrint devatenáctileté hrdinky Evy, která se přičiněním svého stárnoucího otce ocitne v prostředí pražské židovské komunity. Eva začíná pracovat jako servírka v košer jídelně, potkává nejen různé mužské charaktery, ale vnímá i obraz spletitých tajných i otevřených vztahů, konfliktů a střetů zájmů. Eva, pro kterou je ?exkurze? do komunity součástí hledání osobní identity, si najednou uvědomuje prázdnotu svých osobních vztahů a její vnitřní spor se postupně stává metaforou současného světa. ?Oj vej zmir? je v jidiš výrazem pro povzdech a stejnojmenný scénář je jemnou ironickou analogií osobních problémů a konfliktů v prostředí. |
| Translation of abstract | "Oj Vej Zmir" is a full-length screenplay by Sabina Bočanová, a student of screenwriting department at FAMU. It explores nineteen-year old Eva?s love labyrinth. Eva, thanks to her aging father?s endeavours, finds herself in the environment of the Prague Jewish community when she takes a job as a waitress in a kosher restaurant. Not only does she meet several male characters but also perceives a picture of complex relationships both secret and open, conflicts and clashes of interest. ?The excursion? into the community is a part of Eva?s search for personal identity and she suddenly realises the hollowness of her own relationships. Her inner feud gradually becomes a metaphor for today?s world. ?Oj vej zmir? is a Yiddish expression equivalent to a sigh and the script being titled as such is a gently ironic analogy of personals problems and conflicts in the setting. |
