| Abstract | Tato práce je zaměřena na úlohu bicích nástrojů ve vojenském dechovém orchestru. První část se zabývá funkcemi a úkoly vojenské hudby. V druhé části je popsána historie vojenské hudby od starověku až do současnosti se zaměřením na středoevropský region. Ve třetí části je potom provedena analýza postavení bicích nástrojů v rámci vojenského dechového orchestru a jsou zde z hlediska bicích nástrojů popsány souvislosti mezi vojenskou hudbou a symfonickými orchestry či populární hudbou. Závěr třetí části tvoří srovnání dvou vyhraněných typů skladeb pro vojenské hudby ? klasického vojenského pochodu Julia Fučíka a moderní kompozice Hudba pro Prahu 1968 od Karla Husy. |
| Translation of abstract | This thesis describes a role of percussion instruments in military brass bands. The first part of the thesis is presents functions and tasks which military music must deal with. The second chapter describes history of military music from ancient ages up to present with special focus on Central Europe region. The third chapter tries to comprehend a role of percussion instruments in the military brass band within its variability. Connections between brass bands and symphonic orchestra and popular music are mentioned. The third chapter is concluded by comparison of two different types of compositions intended for brass band: Austro-Hungarian military march by Julius Fučík and Music for Prague 1968 by Karel Husa are presented as two examples of traditional brass band composition and modern composition of avant-garde 20th century music. |
