| Abstract | Od vzniku fotografie a filmu je svět stále více zaplňován a zároveň zprostředkováván obrazy. Tyto obrazy jsou dále přejímány, přetvářeny a interpretovány a jejich význam se posouvá. Obraz (či odraz) světa kolem nás vytváříme skrze aparáty, které obsluhujeme. Paradoxně ale nikdy nevidíme co se odehrává uvnitř, v místě, kde obraz doopravdy vzniká. Můžeme se jen dohadovat zda-li je výsledek skutečně odrazem toho, co chceme vyjádřit, či jenom možností a omezení kterými aparát disponuje? |
| Translation of abstract | Since the discovery of photography and film the world has been increasingly inundated by and mediated through pictures. These pictures are adopted, transformed and interpreted and their meaning is shifting. The picture (or the reflection) of the world around us is created through cameras we operate. The irony is that we never see what is happening inside, in the place where the picture originates. We may only speculate whether the outcome is really a reflection of what we wish to express or just an expression of the possibilities and limitations of the camera ? |
