| Abstract | Diplomová práce se zabývá způsoby, jakými je zobrazeno téma smrti a umírání v českém dokumentárním filmu. Zaměřím se na filmy, které přímo tato témata zobrazují, tj. odehrávají se jako primární děje. Pomocí filmové analýzy a kvalitativních rozhovorů s žijícími režiséry a režisérkami rozkrývám obraz, který je divákovi předkládán napříč dobou a přibližuje režijní metody autorů. |
| Translation of abstract | The diploma thesis deals with the ways in which the topic of death and dying is depicted in Czech documentary film. I will focus on films that directly depict these topics. Through film analysis and qualitative interviews with living directors, I reveal the image that is presented to the viewer over time and introduces the authors' directing methods. |
