| Abstract | Bakalářská práce analyzuje vývoj protagonisty v první řadě seriálu Mindhunter. Definuje pojem tradičního hrdiny v narativním příběhu a nastiňuje teorii cesty hrdiny Christophera Voglera. Věnuje se charakteristice antihrdiny jako jednoho z typů protagonistů. Práce se také zabývá obecnou definicí filmového žánru a stanoví základní rysy detektivního filmu a policejního dramatu. Stručně uvádí charakteristické vlastnosti protagonisty policejního dramatu. Cílem práce je demonstrovat, jak se z původně kladné postavy agenta Forda stane padouch, charakterizovat vývoj Holdena Forda z hlediska modelu cesty hrdiny a ukázat, v čem seriál Mindhunter splňuje a v čem porušuje žánrové konvence policejního dramatu. |
| Translation of abstract | The bachelor thesis analyses the development of a protagonist in the first season of Mindhunter. It defines the term of traditional hero in narrative story and outlines Christopher Vogler's theory of Hero's journey. The thesis studies general definition film genre and describes basic attributes of krimi film and police dramas. It briefly presents characteristic attributes of a protagonist in police drama. The thesis aims to reveal how an initially good hero becomes a villain and to describe the development of Holden Ford from the perspective of Hero's journey and to show which genre conventions are presented in Mindhunter and which are not. |
