| Abstract | Tato práce se týká opery Albana Berga Wozzeck. Tato opera je skutečným mezníkem v hudbě dvacátého století. V první části své práce sleduji kulturní situaci ve Vídni kolem přelomu devatenáctého a dvacátého století. Krátce se věnuji historii rodiny Albana Berga a také jeho vztahu k Arnoldu Schönbergovi, který ho v jeho hudebním vývoji nejvíce ovlivnil .Krátká diskuze o vzniku libreta předchází analýze opery, kde popisuji vztah mezi použitými hudebními formamia dramaturgií. Bohužel kvůli krátkému charakteru této práce nebylo možno podrobněji popsat Bergovy kompoziční metody. Pro podrobnější teoretické rozbory odkazuji na seznam použité literatury. |
| Translation of abstract | This thesis deals with Alban Berg´s opera ,Wozzeck. This opera is a true turning point for the music of the twentieth century. In the first of mx thesis I give an overview of the cultural situation existing in Vienna at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century. I briefly discuss history of Alban Berg as well as his relationship with Arnold Schoenberg who had perhaps the greatest influence on his musical development. A short discussion of the origins of the libretto precedes an analysis of the opera which reveals a correlation between the musical forms used and the dramatic content. Unfortunately, due to the short nature of this work, it was not possible to greatly investigate the compositional techniques used in Wozzeck. For future detailed theoretical analysis please see the bibliography. |
