| Abstract | Cílem této práce na téma The Royal Ballet School: Vývoj této instituce a její současné postavení je seznámení čtenáře s jednou ze světově uznávaných baletních škol. V rámci práce představuji zakladatelku této instituce Dame Ninette de Valois a zabývám se historií školy. Dále v práci píšu o současném systému školy a jejích programech. V návaznosti na program školy Zdravý tanečník řeším otázku zdravého tanečníka z mého pohledu pedagoga. |
| Translation of abstract | The aim of this thesis, The Royal Ballet School: The history of this institution and its modern-day impact is to introduce to the readers one of the world’s most renowned ballet schools. Within this paper, I present the founder of this institution Dame Ninette de Valois, and focus on the history of the school. Additionally, I illustrate the modern-day school system and its programmes. Finally, in connection to the school’s programme Healthy dancer, l look at the topic of health of dancers from my perspective as a pedagogue. |
