| Abstract | V balkánském státě Makedonie žije vedle Makedonců albánská menšina. Půl století oba etnika bydlely vedle sebe v stejných městech a vesnicích. V roce 2001 došlo k ozbrojenému konfliktu mezi etnickými Makedonci a Albánci. Následně tisíce Makedonců uprchly od svých bydlišť. Jejich domy a celý majetek byly zničeny v bojích.Válka skončila v stejném roce ale tito uprchlici se dodnes nemůžou vrátit do svých původních měst a vesnic. V důsledku války totiž vznikla výrazná nenávist mezi makedonským a albánským etnikem. Proto uprchlíci nyní žiji v ubytovnách a dostávají finanční příspěvky od státu. Film zkoumá současný život těchto makedonských uprchlíků a jejich boj o ztracené jmění... |
| Translation of abstract | In the Balkan state of Macedonia beside Macedonians lives an Albanian minority. For half of century in the past both ethnics inhabited the same towns and villages. In the year 2001 an armed conflict spread between ethnic Macedonians and Albanians. Subsequently thousands of Macedonians fled from their homes. Their houses and properties were ruined in the fights. The war ended in the same year, but these refugees cannot go back to their original places of living. Because of the war, a hatred spread between Macedonian and Albanian ethnics. For that reason the refugees now live in dormitories and receive financial aids from the state. The movie follows the lives of this Macedonian refugees and their battle for the lost properties... |
