| Abstract | Tato práce pojednává o estonském skladateli Arvo Pärtovi, se zaměřením na jeho život, skladebnou techniku a postavení varhan v jeho díle. Popisuje jeho složitý stylový vývoj, který byl ve velké míře zapříčiněn nevyhovujícími tématy skladeb pro tehdejší komunistický režim a zároveň jeho konverzí k pravoslavné církvi. Samostatná část je věnována stylu tintinnabuli, který je pro druhou skladatelskou etapu autora charakteristický. Další část se zaměřuje na skladby pro sólové varhany a vokální skladby s varhanami. Ke každé sólové skladbě práce poskytne poučení k interpretaci na základě literatury či filmového záznamu, kde se sám autor k této problematice vyjadřuje. |
| Translation of abstract | The thesis is concerned with the life and compositions of Estonian composer Arvo Pärt and focuses on the importance of organ music in his work. It describes the complex development of his style caused by the inconvenience of his compositions’ themes for the then communist regime and Pärt’s conversion to the Orthodox Church. There is a separate part of the thesis devoted to the tintinnabuli style, characteristic for the second stage of his work life. Another part of the thesis focuses on the compositions for solo organ and vocal compositions with organ. It provides instructions for interpretation of each solo composition, based on literature or film records where the topic is explained by the author himself. |
