| Abstract | Obsahem mé bakalářské práce "Kontrabas v jazzové hudbě se zaměřením na české jazzové kontrabasisty" je seznámení s českými jazzovými kontrabasisty a způsobem hry jazzu na kontrabas. V jednotlilvých kapitolách popisuji důvody, které mně vedly k výběru tohoto tématu a stručné historické souvislosti. Zvláštní kapitola je věnována technice jazzové hry na kontrabas a obsahuje také krátké notové ukázky a dvě kompletní transkripce sól Jiřího Mráze. V dalších kapitolách se podrobněji věnuji jednotlivým kontrabasistům. Uvádím jejich životopisy, diskografii a charakteristiku jejich hry v souvislosti s hudebními ukázkami na přiložené, CD, které je též součástí práce. V závěru uvádím shrnutí, poděkování a seznam použité literatury, webových adres, ze kterých jsem čerpala a kompletní seznam zvukových nosičů, ze kterých byly použity hudební ukázky. |
| Translation of abstract | My bachelors thesis ( The double bass in jazz, with special attention on Czech jazz double bassists) consists of an introduction of Czech jazz double bassists, and the way jazz is played on this instrument. In individual chapters I describe my reasons for choosing this topic, and also brief hisorical context.A special chapter is dedicated to the technique of playing jazz on the double bass.This chapter also contains short notation excerpts, and two full transcriptions of Jiří Mráz´s solos. In the rest of the chapters I pay closer attention to the individual bassists.I present their biographies, discographies, and an analysis of their style, which is linked to audio examples found on the CD, that is attached to this paper. A bibliography, including web addresses I used, is attached, as well as a complete list of LP´s and CD´s I used for the audio excerpts. I conclude the treatise with a summary, and acknowledgments. |
