| Abstract | Viacom patří k největším mass mediálních společností spadající pod společnost National Amusements, která vlastní rozsáhlou síť kin v USA a spadá pod ní mimo jiné i další televizní gigant CBS. Tato bakalářská práce se bude věnovat jeho aktivitám ve střední Evropě, kde jeho aktivity ještě nenabrali na síle tolik jako v ostatních koutech naší zeměkoule, ale postupem času se začínají prosazovat čím dál více. Jako jeden z prvních viditelných výsledků je televizní stanice Prima Comedy Central, která tvoří pilotní projekt Viacomu v České republice. V této práci se budou dopodrobna rozebírat podmínky, za kterých tento televizní kanál vznikl a plány, které s ním Viacom do budoucna má a jeho další plány u nás a v celé střední Evropě. |
| Translation of abstract | Viacom is one of the largest mass media companies of National Amusements, which owns an extensive network of cinemas in the US, and includes, among other things, CBS television giant. This bachelor thesis will focus on its activities in Central Europe, where its activities have not gained strength as much as in the other corners of our globe, but over time they are pushing forward more and more. One of the first visible results is the Prima Comedy Central TV station, which is the Viacom pilot project in the Czech Republic. In this paper, we will discuss in detail the conditions under which this TV channel was created and the plans that Viacom has, for its future in our country and throughout Central Europe |
