| Abstract | Témou tejto bakalárskej práce, je film amerického umelca Andyho Warhola EMPIRE, ktorý som podrobil detailnej analýze z formálneho i významového hľadiska. Nasledujúce kapitoly objasňujú EMPIRE v rôznych súvislostiach v oblasti filmového média, jeho histórie, jeho prepojením so situáciou americkej spoločnosti alebo taktiež v súvislostiach s inými umelcami, či konkrétnymi umeleckými dielami. Analýza filmu, je prepojovaná hypotézami a úvahami nad možnými významami, respektíve symbolmi filmového diela. |
| Translation of abstract | The subject-matter of this bachelor thesis, is a film by an American artist Andy Warhol called EMPIRE, which I subjected to a detailed analysis from a formal and significant stand point. The following chapters elucidate the EMPIRE in various connections with a film medium, it´s history, it´s link with a state of an American society, but also in connection with other artists or particular art works. Analysis of this movie is interconnected with hypothesis and contemplations over possible meanings, or symbols of the film. |
