| Abstract | Cílem bakalářské práce je představit nový proud v kinematografii: Viet Kieu Cinema. Práce na úvod definuje samotný pojem Viet Kieu a jeho historické souvislosti. Dále se věnuje několika vybraným představitelům a analyzuje motivy zobrazované v jejich dílech v souvislosti s jejich Viet Kieu původem. Jak se jejich původ odráží ve filmech? Jaký historický, kulturní, či sociologický kontext za tím stojí? |
| Translation of abstract | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce a new stream in cinema called Viet Kieu Cinema. In introduction the thesis defines the term Viet Kieu alone and its historical links. Furthermore the paper presents several film directors, who have been selected, and analyses the motives portrayed in their work, in relation to their Viet Kieu origin. How does their Viet Kieu origin reflect in their movies? What historical, cultural and sociological contexts are behind it? |
