| Abstract | Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem antiutopie a totality v české a světové kinematografii a dále zpracovává návrh výtvarné koncepce filmu Devatenáct set osmdesát čtyři podle knihy George Orwella. Teoretická část této práce se zabývá definicí vztahu mezi antiutopií a totalitou, jejich charakteristickými prvky a jak se projevují ve filmu. Tento fenomén je z hlediska výtvarného řešení podrobněji rozebírán v rozborech vybraných filmů. Druhá část této práce pak řeší samotný návrh výtvarné koncepce filmu. Koncepce je zpracována od urbánního celku po jednotlivé exteriérové a interiérové dekorace a návrhu jejich realizace. |
| Translation of abstract | The topic of this diploma thesis is the antiutopia and totalism in the Czech and world cinematography and it elaborates the proposal of an artistic approach to the film Nineteen Eighty-Four based on the novel by George Orwell. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the definition of the relationship between antiutopia and totalitarianism, their characteristic features and how they manifest themselves in the cinema. This phenomenon is discussed in more detail in the folowing analysis of selected films in terms of their visual and production values. The second part of this thesis looks into the artistic approach to the film. The concept elaborates an urban design as well as individual exterior and interior sets and proposal of their designing. |
